Begin your tour at 9:30 a.m. for a day trip to the eastern area of the island. Porto Cristo, one of the oldest towns dating to the Middle Ages, is a charming fishing village on the edge of a sheltered bay. The nearby Caves of Drach are home to the largest subterranean lake in the world, Lake Martel. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake while listening to a concert of classical music. The exceptional lighting system enhances the natural beauty of the caves, where stalactites and stalagmites form fascinating shapes in the water, giving the impression of mountains growing from the depths. There will be a stop for lunch (additional cost) and then a visit to a local pearl factory to see how pearls are created, cultivated and then treated to become world renowned Mallorca Pearls.
