In Spain as in many other countries,tour guiding is a registered activity requiring a license issued by the local Tourism Department.Non-licenced persons working as a tour guides will not guide you openly at the main sights and places of interest for fear of a fine and will stick to the less obvious spots.Non-licensed can not grant you easy access to crowded monuments and museums instead you will be diplomaticaly discouraged on account of the waitting line. Licensed guides are registered professionals who meet the local Consumer protetion code ,they can easily be identified .
Please remember this: tour guides in Mallorca and Spain are considered professionals and must be licensed to perform their services.
Tour guides in Mallorca and other European countries earn their license via official exams given by the tourist authorities regions or provinces.

To ensure high standards and to protect you, the consumer, from wherever in the world you hail, Spanish legislation, both national and local, defines the tourism professions and requires that hotels, travel agencies, travel agency directors and individual operators, such as tour guides and tour escorts, possess a license.
On the job in Mallorca, tour guides always wear or carry their license with them, to be shown upon request to the authorities.
Licensed tour guides in Mallorca do not need to look over their shoulder to see whether the police are coming. Individuals performing tourist guide services in Mallorca without a license, in virtually whatever guise they assume, are breaking the law. Please beware: if these individuals don't state they are licensed Majorca tour guides, you can be sure they are not legally certified to perform tour guide services in Mallorca

Modifications and cancellatios
If you need to change the dates you booked ,inform us as soon as posible so we can make the necessary arrangements. Durig the Hight season we can not guarantee the availability of a guide if you change the date last moment.
Your e-Mail reservation will guarantee a 7 days confirmation option, during which you will need to provide us with American Express , Visa or MasterCard data (Holder's name as it appears on the Card, Number and Expiration Date) as a guarantee for the services being booked. Upon receipt of the Credit Card Data we will consider the option confirmed. We kindly request that you make your reservation at least seven days before the beginning of the first service.
Cancellation 1 week before date of requested service: No Penalty. Cancellation 72 hours before date and time of requested service: 10% Penalty Cancellation 48 hours before date and time of requested service: 30% Penalty. Cancellation 24 hours before date and time of requested service: 50% Penalty Cancellation less than 24 hours before the service fully charged.
