The nearby Caves of Drach are home to the largest subterranean lake in the world, Lake Martel. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake while listening to a concert of classical music. The exceptional lighting system enhances the natural beauty of the caves, where stalactites and stalagmites form fascinating shapes in the water, giving the impression of mountains growing from the depths. There will be a stop for lunch (additional cost) and then a visit to a local pearl factory to see how pearls are created, cultivated and then treated to become world renowned Mallorca Pearls. Miguel Corral has a very diverse and rich background, after travelling extensively and
before becoming a Licensed Local Tour Guide of Balearic Islands, Miguel obtained the University degree of Técnico de Empresas y Actividades Turísticas by the Escuela Oficial de Turismo . He was living and studying in London, Paris and Florence.
He has the certificate of proficiency in English EFL. By Cambridge University and a certificate of Lingua e cultura Italiana given by the Università di Firenze.
He continuously assist to different update courses organized by local institutions as the "Jornades Internacionals d´Estudis Gaudinistes in Palma" Juny 2002, the Diploma of the Fundación Bmé. March Severa of Modern Sculpture, (May 2003) The Municipality of Palma (Palma Monumental, February 2004), The Fundación Yannick & Ben Jakober (June 2005), The Fundación Pilar & Joan Mirò of Palma (January 2006), IBATUR (2003, 2004.2005, 2006), and the Institut d'Estrategia Turística de Balaears (March and November 2006).
His degrees in Humanities and Tourism Management, combined with his background and passion for his job have turned him into a very experienced licensed guide in Mallorca.
